Anniston, AL – The Berman Museum invites young history enthusiasts to uncover the fascinating story of Elizebeth Friedman, America’s first female codebreaker, during this month’s I Spy! event. Scheduled for January 4th from 1:00 to 2:30 PM, this engaging program promises an afternoon of discovery, storytelling, scavenger hunts, and crafts.

Recommended for children ages 6 to 10, the event welcomes attendees of all ages to dive into the life and contributions of Friedman, whose groundbreaking work in cryptography shaped the course of history. Through interactive activities, participants will explore her role in decoding messages that impacted both World War II and early 20th-century criminal investigations.

Application
