“I Spy! Morse Code” Event Set for May 3 at Anniston Museums and Gardens

I Spy! Morse Code

ANNISTON, AL — Young history enthusiasts and curious minds are invited to the Anniston Museums and Gardens on Saturday, May 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the next installment of the Berman Museum’s popular children’s program series, I Spy!.

This month’s program, I Spy! Morse Code, will introduce participants to one of the earliest forms of text messaging — Morse Code and the telegraph. Through engaging stories, scavenger hunts, and crafts, children will uncover the history and importance of this fascinating communication method.

Designed especially for ages 6 to 10, I Spy! welcomes guests of all ages to join the fun. Pre-registration is encouraged to secure a spot. The program is included with regular museum admission and is free for Anniston Museums and Gardens members.

The event will take place at the Berman Museum, located on Museum Drive in Anniston, Alabama. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to blend learning with hands-on activities and explore a pivotal moment in communication history.

For those seeking an afternoon of adventure and discovery, I Spy! Morse Code promises a memorable experience.
