Anniston, AL – On Saturday, August 6th, the AlaBenton Genealogical Society will hold a workshop at the Anniston Library. This workshop is called, In Your Genes – DNA and Your Family Tree and will be held at 12:00 pm. Join them to learn all about DNA, Gedmatch, ethnicities and get help with your DNA questions. Registration begins on August 6th from 11:30 – 12:00, and the price of the course is $25 in advance, or $30 at the door. All proceeds received will be donated to the Alabama Room in The Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County. This course is a great way for people to learn all about ancestry, from beginners to seasoned researchers. The Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County provides equitable access to knowledge and supports the employment, educational, and recreational needs of the citizens of Anniston and Calhoun County.
