Indulge in Oxford's First Class Ice Cream

First Class Ice Cream is a family owned ice cream shop full of unique flavors of ice cream and popsicles. They use Mexican recipes and the treats are always naturally flavored and homemade.

Tammy (T): How and when did the business get started?
Naleah (N): First Class Ice Cream started in the summer of 2018. My brother travels to Mexico a lot and they don’t have a lot of ice cream shops, but they do have some that are really good. They sell a lot of homemade ice cream and there weren’t many options in Oxford.
T: Tell me about your location in downtown Oxford.
N: It’s a good spot for foot traffic from other local businesses. We’re across the street from Southern Girl Coffee, and a lot of people will come by to get dessert after eating at Hubbard’s Off Main.
T: Tell me about all the things you sell here.
N: We sell ice cream, fruit bars, cream bars. Its all made naturally and homemade with Mexican recipes. We also have milkshakes, and juice blends.
T: Tell me about your most popular items.
N: Our most popular is the Cookie Monster ice cream, it’s Oreo ice cream and we dye it blue and it has cookie dough and chocolate chips added. For popsicles, it’s the chocolate covered coconut pop that is really good.
T: Tell me about the local events you participate in.
N: We do the 4^th of July on Oxford Lake, we do Market on Main every Saturday in downtown Oxford. We have set up at Choccolocco Park before when they have games scheduled.

N: We’re on Facebook and Instagram at First Class Ice Cream and we’re located at 426 Main Street in downtown Oxford.
