Anniston, AL – On Saturday, April 8th from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm the Anniston Museums and Gardens will host Introduction to Nature Journaling. “Nature journaling is simply the practice of drawing or writing in response to nature. This fun, relaxing practice helps you to connect more closely with nature and results in the creation of your own unique nature journal. Both the practice and the end product are important… A journal can be anything you want it to be.” (www.naturejournalingweek.com)
Join the museum’s Education team to learn the art of nature journaling. The natural world opens up and reveals incredible details and wonders when we slow down and purposefully observe the world around us. Nature journaling is for all ages; you don’t have to be an artist to enjoy and appreciate it. Journals and journaling material will be provided.
“Stuff your eyes with wonder…live as if you’d drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.” –Ray Bradbury
This program is included in museum admission and free for members. Guests ages six and up are encouraged to participate.
