Per the City Public Information Officer, Jackson Hodges, the City of Anniston is proud to announce that Jack’s Family Restaurants, LP will break ground on their newest Anniston based location this coming Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 8:30 AM. This Jack’s Restaurant will be located due south of Mapco, in the Golden Springs area of Anniston, on the east side of Veterans Parkway.

“I am very pleased that Jack’s is expanding in Anniston. I really appreciate the hard work and collaboration between city staff, Retail Strategies, and Jack’s. Economic development will continue to be our focus. Anniston is truly open for business!” exclaimed Mayor Jack Draper.

City of Anniston Economic Development Director, Toby Bennington, echoed the Mayor’s excitement stating, “It has been a thorough partnering effort with Jack’s Restaurant for this site on the parkway corridor. The site was recognized as a viable one, and working with our various partners alongside city leadership made this happen. Economic development looks to remain very proactive in Anniston!”

Throughout the process of establishing its newest Anniston location, Jack’s projects to invest roughly $3 Million, while employing 45 team members, 6 managers, and 1 area coach. Upon the project’s completion, the restaurant’s sales volume is expected to reach over $1.8 million a year, with an annual estimated sales tax revenue of over $90,000.
