Christmas Village

Jacksonville, AL – The Jacksonville Arts Council is delighted to announce the return of its highly anticipated annual Christmas Village, scheduled for Saturday, November 18, at the city Jacksonville Community Center. This festive event promises a day filled with holiday cheer, family-friendly activities, and the opportunity to explore unique offerings from over 50 vendors.

The heartwarming atmosphere of the Christmas Village is designed to capture the spirit of the season, making it a must-attend event for the entire community. The festivities kick off at the city Community Center, where visitors can immerse themselves in the holiday spirit while perusing the diverse array of goods and crafts from local vendors.

A highlight of the event is the Children’s Christmas Gift Shop, a magical space where young ones can select special presents for their loved ones. This thoughtful addition adds an extra layer of joy to the occasion, making it a memorable experience for families.

Of course, no Christmas Village would be complete without a visit from the jolly man himself – Santa Claus. Children and families can share their holiday wishes, capture the moment with photos, and revel in the enchantment of the season.

For those interested in joining the festivities as vendors, the Christmas Village welcomes participation from local businesses and artisans. Vendor applications can be found on the Jacksonville city website at https://www.jacksonville-al.org/christmas_village, offering an opportunity to showcase unique products and crafts to the community.

Organizers Nancy Gillespie (256-435-1092) and Inez Ragland (256-589-0557) are more than happy to provide additional information about the event and answer any inquiries.
