Jacksonville Christian Weathers the Storm They Were Dealt

Alabaster, AL – Jacksonville Christian weathers thunderstorm delay, Trinity to open the Alabama Christian Schools season with a 54-18 victory.

 

Thunder literally and figuratively dominated Jacksonville Christian’s football season opener at Trinity on Friday.

Noah Lee passed for 190 yards and five touchdowns, and the Thunder rolled 54-18.

They led 34-0 at halftime, when a Thunderstorm forced a delay.

Lee completed seven of 11 passes. Jesse Gannaway, who transferred from Pleasant Valley, caught four passes for 124 yards and four touchdowns.

Other top targets included Travis Barnhill, who caught two passes for 54 yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for 92 yards and two scores.

Caleb Stallings carried three times for 16 yards and a touchdown.
