        1. Add: 12a Consider action to approve the employment of the following:
          1. Kennedy Michael Laster, Part-Time Corrections Officer, Range 9, effective upon compliance with Ordinance No. 273, due to the resignation of Edward Pruitt.
        2. Add: 12b Consider action to approve the reclassification of the following:
          1. Howard H. Bishop, III, School Resource Officer, Range 18, effective June 28th, 2023, due to the retirement of Johnson Manners.
          2. Robert J. Colvin, Firefighter/Paramedic, Range 11A, effective June 28th, 2023, due to obtaining required Paramedic License.
        3. Add: 12c Consider action to approve the promotion of the following:
          1. Emily Smith, Inventory & Account Specialist, Range 14, effective June 28, 2023, due to the retirement of Penelope Helm.
        4. Amend: 20 Consider action to delete the executive session and adjourn.

  • Consideration of Ordinance No. O-647-23 amending a portion of Section 19-81, Chapter 19-Solid Waste, Article IV. Trash Collections of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jacksonville, Alabama. (Received First Reading June 12, 2023) – Unanimously Approved
  • Consider action to approve the amended Job Description of Inventory & Account Specialist, Range 14. – Unanimously Approved

    • Councilman Taylor thanked Rev. Jim Wilson for the invocation. He also asked all to be in prayer for the Mayor and his family.
