If the residents of Jacksonville happen to see fire trucks at Kitty Stone Elementary tomorrow morning there is nothing to worry about. The Jacksonville Fire Department will be going to Kitty Stone Elementary School tomorrow to conduct a fire prevention class to the third graders. After the class is completed the students will be able to go outside with the firefighters and look at some of the different apparatus available.

This is National Fire Prevention week and the Jacksonville FD is an active part of the community. They enjoy meeting with the public and providing education and training when they are invited. Everyone is encouraged to get to know your fire department and ask any questions they may have regarding to fire safety.
