Celebrate Jacksonville High Schools Homecoming!!
This is homecoming week for the Jacksonville High School students. There are a lot of activities leading up to the big homecoming game on Friday at the Golden Eagles Stadium. Please make sure to support your favorite team and come out to some of the events being put on throughout the week.
This weeks schedule of events:
On Tuesday at 6:00 pm the Jacksonville High School will play a Powder Puff Football game at the Golden Eagles Stadium. Tickets are $3 at the gate.
On Thursday at 6:30 pm Jacksonville High School will hold a homecoming parade featuring the homecoming class representatives, cartoon themed float creations, JHS clubs and sponsors, JHS cheerleaders, JHS varsity football team, and the JHS Golden Eagle marching band.
On Friday from 3:00-6:00 pm the McDonald’s in Jacksonville will compete with the McDonald’s in Piedmont. McDonald’s will then donate $500 to the football team and $500 to the band of the school with the highest sales.
On Friday at 7:00 pm the undefeated Eagles will host the undefeated Piedmont bulldogs. Advance tickets are $6. The Jacksonville Journal will again be live tweeting the game for all our readers.
