Jacksovnille, AL – In an exciting announcement, the Pettway and Vann family is thrilled to share that 16-year-old Miniya-Grace Pettway Vann, a junior at Jacksonville High School, has achieved a remarkable feat by being selected to dance in the prestigious Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
Miniya-Grace, a dynamic dancer and member of the Fierce Competitive Dance Team at Crazy About Dance under the guidance of Mrs. Alison Woodward, has earned her spot in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, a platform coveted by thousands of students nationwide. She will also be representing Jacksonville High School as the co-captain of the Auxiliary Dance Team in the marching band under the leadership of Ms. Loos.
Apart from her accomplishments in dance, Miniya-Grace is an active member of various clubs and organizations that showcase her dedication to both academics and community involvement. Her impressive list includes:
