Jacksonville Public Library to Host Black Light Painting Event for Teens

Jacksonville, AL – The Jacksonville Public Library is inviting local teens to participate in a Black Light Painting event on Tuesday, June 2, beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the library, located at 200 Pelham Road South in Jacksonville.

The event is open to ages 10-18 and will give participants the opportunity to create artwork using black light-reactive paints in a unique and creative setting. According to the event announcement, all supplies will be provided.

Library officials noted that space is limited, and registration is required for those wishing to attend. Registration opened on May 12 and can be completed by visiting the library or contacting library staff.

The event is open to the public and is designed to provide local youth with a hands-on artistic experience during the summer.
