Jacksonville Public Library to Host Herb Growing Class on April 3

Growing herbs for culinary and medicinal Uses

JACKSONVILLE, AL – The Jacksonville Public Library will host an informative workshop, “Growing Herbs for Culinary and Medicinal Uses,” on Thursday, April 3, from 4 to 5 p.m. The event, presented by Root & Bloom Consulting, will provide valuable insights into cultivating herbs for both kitchen and wellness applications.

Attendees will learn about the best herbs to grow, proper care techniques, companion planting, and natural pest management. The class will also cover harvesting, drying, and preserving herbs, as well as debunking common misconceptions about herbal gardening. A dedicated Q&A session will allow participants to seek expert advice on their herb-growing questions.

The cost to attend is $10 per person, payable at the door. No registration is required, and the class is open to both beginners and experienced gardeners looking to expand their knowledge.
