Jacksonville, AL – The Jacksonville Public Library invites the community to a special evening of art and storytelling on Tuesday, June 3, at 5:30 p.m. as acclaimed storyteller Dolores Hydock presents Every Picture Tells a Story: The Storytelling of Norman Rockwell. The event will take place at the library, located at 200 Pelham Rd S, Jacksonville, AL.
Known for her dynamic and engaging storytelling, Hydock will explore the fascinating world of American illustrator Norman Rockwell, whose iconic images captured the essence of 20th-century life. Attendees will hear little-known stories from Rockwell’s life and career, and gain insight into how he crafted his famous one-image narratives that graced the covers of The Saturday Evening Post and more.
