Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University’s Delta Chi fraternity is rallying behind one of its own, longtime faculty advisor Brother Todd Garrison ’13, who has recently been diagnosed with stage four esophageal and liver cancer. Garrison, a steadfast mentor and supporter of the chapter, has been recognized for years as an outstanding advisor and brother. Now, the fraternity is stepping up to return that support.
A fundraising effort has been launched to help cover medical expenses and any other necessities for Garrison and his family. As of now, the campaign has raised $4,545, nearing its $5,000 goal.
Delta Chi members and the Jacksonville State community are coming together to spread awareness and encourage donations. Garrison’s impact on the fraternity has been profound, and many who have been guided by his leadership are eager to assist in his time of need.
