Jacksonville, AL – In a ceremony marked by pride and accomplishment, Jacksonville State University celebrated the commissioning of four distinguished graduates from its Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program. The Fall 2023 commissioning ceremony, held on December 14th at 2:00 pm at the Houston Cole Library, marked a significant milestone for the newly commissioned officers as they embark on their military careers.

Carlie Benefield, one of the commissionees, will be joining the active duty ranks in the branch of Quartermaster. Carlos Cruz-Munoz, another graduate from the ROTC program, will be contributing to the Army National Guard.
