Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University’s College of Health Professions and Wellness and the School of Nursing hosted their Nursing White Coat Ceremony on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 4 p.m. in the Leone Cole Auditorium. This special event recognized nursing students as they took a significant step into their professional healthcare careers.
The White Coat Ceremony, a long-standing tradition, emphasized the importance of compassionate, patient-centered care and symbolized the students’ commitment to the ethical responsibilities of nursing.
