Jacksonville State University Homecoming Week

Jacksonville, AL – Alumni and friends are invited to join in the festivities of JSU Homecoming. Morning activities include the parade, then all are invited to stick around to see the Jax State Gamecocks take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles at JSU Stadium at 4 pm. JSU will present the 2023 Alumni of the Year Award Winners and Homecoming Queen, King, and Court during halftime at the game.This year’s theme is “Elevating Excellence: Celebrating the Past, Present, and Future of Jax State!”

September 22nd starts off the JaxState Black Alumni Weekend that is hosted by the JSU Black Alumni Chapter.

On Friday, September 22nd from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm there will be a scholarship endowment cocktail hour at Coldwater Mountain Brewpub – 1208 Walnut Ave, Anniston, AL 36201.

On Saturday, September 23rd starting at 8:00 am till start of game, pick up your t-shirt at Red Threads, on the Jacksonville square. At 10:00 a, there will be a Homecoming parade on Pelham Road on the Jacksonville Square. If alumni would like to walk in the parade register by clicking the ticket link below. At 11:00 am there will be a BAC Tailgate located at the Alumni House lot. Then finally the at 4:00 pm the Jax State vs. Eastern Michigan game will begin at Burgess-Snow Field/JSU Stadium.
