Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University (JSU) is proud to celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of its students, recognizing more than 3,480 undergraduate students on the Honors List for the Fall 2024 semester.
Academic Honors Breakdown:
- President’s List:
A prestigious 1,223 students achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA while completing at least 12 credit hours. - Dean’s List:
Over 1,440 students earned a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99, completing the required 12 credit hours during the semester. - Emerging Scholars:
JSU also recognized the excellence of more than 800 dual enrollment high school students who earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher while completing college-level courses.
JSU commends all honorees for their dedication to academic success. These achievements reflect the hard work and perseverance of the students and the support of their families and educators.
Students who believe they were mistakenly omitted from the Honors List are advised to review their semester transcripts, particularly the “hours earned.” Please note:
- Courses repeated or taken Pass/Fail do not count toward the 12-credit-hour requirement.
