Jacksonville, AL – The Jacksonville State University (JSU) community is cordially invited to a groundbreaking event centered on cannabis education and industry insights. Titled “Rollin’ Out Medical Cannabis: Expert Panel and Introduction to Jax State Cannabis Microcredentials,” this free event promises to be both informative and engaging.
Scheduled for Wednesday, April 17th, the event will take place in Merrill B10 Auditorium. The evening will kick off with a reception at 6:00 pm, offering attendees the chance to mingle and enjoy refreshments. Notably, participants will have an exclusive opportunity to capture a moment with Cocky, JSU’s beloved mascot, while donning the university’s new Cannabis Science t-shirt.
The main program will commence at 6:30 pm with remarks by President Killingsworth, underlining JSU’s commitment to fostering innovation and addressing emerging topics in education and research. Following President Killingsworth’s address, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a dynamic question-and-answer session with a panel of cannabis industry and legal experts.
