University Joins International Studies Consortium

Jacksonville, AL – Per the JSU media press department JSU has joined the International Studies Consortium of Georgia (ISCOG), a group of 18 colleges and universities dedicated to developing, coordinating and implementing international education and foreign language projects on college campuses. Founded in 1993, ISCOG began in the State of Georgia but has spread throughout the Southeast.

The consortium is hosting two virtual events this week, open to all JSU faculty, staff and students. On Thursday, Sept. 15, 1-2:30 p.m., the Consul General of Belgium Michael Gerebtzoff will speak. Meanwhile, on Friday, Sept. 16, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., it will host a virtual conference on Critical Global Resources, Changing World Order, and International Relations and Trade.
