The Jacksonville State University Recreation Center is hosting its first regional climbing competition, the Gamecock Crush, on Feb. 19. The top-rope and bouldering competition will feature climbers from throughout the Southeast. Climbing will take place in two heats: 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 12-3 p.m. Registration is $30 and includes a Gamecock Crush T-shirt, swag bag and a chance to win prizes.
