Using a combination of key statistics and student reviews sourced from data provided by the US Department of Education, Niche.com ranked the Jax State Department of Nursing at an impressive No. 51 out of 774 programs across the nation.

The School of Nursing, housed within the College of Health Professions and Wellness, stands as one of the largest units on JSU’s campus. Offering a comprehensive range of academic programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and an RN-to-BSN program, it caters to the diverse needs of aspiring nursing professionals.
In a significant development this school year, the program relocated to the JSU South Complex, a state-of-the-art training facility housed in a former local hospital. This move reflects the school’s commitment to providing students with a cutting-edge educational experience.
