Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University (JSU) is thrilled to welcome Marc Lore, a renowned entrepreneur, innovator, and NBA team owner, for “A Conversation with Marc Lore” on Wednesday, February 5, at 7 p.m. in Merrill Hall Room B10. Marc Lore, the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Wonder Group, has made a significant impact in the world of e-commerce, business innovation, and urban development. His entrepreneurial journey includes launching Jet.com, which was acquired by Walmart for $3.3 billion, and co-founding Quidsi, the parent company of e-commerce platforms such as Diapers.com, Soap.com, and Wag.com, later sold to Amazon for $550 million.
Beyond his success in business, Lore is a co-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx. He is also an investor in cutting-edge projects, including Archer’s all-electric aircraft, and the visionary behind Telosa, a proposed utopian city designed to pioneer a new model of economic and social equity.
