Jacksonville State University To Host Jazz Festival Featuring Pat Bianchi

Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University (JSU) is gearing up to host its annual Jazz Festival on Friday, April 19th, promising a full day of musical immersion and education for students and directors alike. Held at the Mason Hall Recital Hall from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, the festival culminates in a concert at 4:00 pm featuring acclaimed Hammond B-3 Organist, Pat Bianchi, alongside JSU Jazz Ensemble I.

The festival aims to foster a positive educational and musical experience in jazz, facilitating maximum interaction between students, directors, and guest clinicians throughout the day. Notably non-competitive, the event prioritizes learning and growth, with clinicians offering written and verbal feedback to participants.
