Jax State Expands Business Partnerships With The Addition of AmFirst and Birmingham OBGYN

Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University (Jax State) proudly announces the addition of AmFirst and Birmingham OBGYN to its growing network of business partnerships. These collaborations further highlight Jax State’s dedication to fostering meaningful connections that benefit the university, its partners, and the communities they serve.

Since the inception of the partnership program in 2020, Jax State has successfully established alliances with 29 organizations spanning education, healthcare, industry, government, and nonprofit sectors. This program is a testament to the university’s commitment to enhancing educational access and promoting workforce development throughout Alabama.

Application

Jax State’s business partnerships have already made a significant impact, awarding 989 scholarships to 470 individual students. These scholarships empower students to achieve their educational goals while creating avenues for professional and community advancement.

Jax State President Dr. Don C. Killingsworth, Jr., expressed his enthusiasm for the program’s continued growth:
