Jacksonville State University kicked off the fall semester with added excitement as musical artist Swisher3x brought his trademark positivity and energy to campus. Known for his “Vibe Movement,” Swisher3x—born Paa-Gyesi Ansah—spent several days engaging with students during J-Week, the university’s annual welcome week.
With more than a million followers across multiple social media platforms, Swisher3x has built a global reputation for blending music, movement, and faith into a message of joy and connection. Since launching the Vibe Movement in New York in 2020, he has traveled internationally sharing his mission of positivity.
At Jax State, he participated in New Student Convocation, the Welcome Back Cookout, and College Connections, while also spending time with the Marching Southerners, the Gamecock football team, and classrooms across campus. His visit culminated in high-energy performances, encouraging students to take part and “feel the vibes.”
Reflecting on his experience, Swisher3x described Jax State as “Spectacular and the hospitality was top tier!!! Definitely The Friendliest School In The South I Loved Every Moment Of This Experience.”
Keaton Glass, Director of First and Second Year Experience at Jax State, said the visit made a lasting impression. “Having Swisher3x on campus was an incredible way to kick off the semester. His energy and positivity connected with our students in such a meaningful way, and it really set the tone for the year ahead.”
The visit was widely seen as one of the highlights of J-Week, offering students an uplifting and community-focused start to the semester.
