Jacksonville, AL – The City of Jacksonville will hold a public involvement meeting on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, to present and discuss proposed pedestrian safety improvements around Public Square. The meeting will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Jacksonville City Hall, located at 320 Church Avenue SE.
This come-and-go style event is intended to allow residents to stop by at their convenience during the two-hour timeframe. There will be no formal presentation. Attendees will be able to view project materials on visual displays and speak directly with city staff and consulting engineers about the proposed changes.
Residents are encouraged to provide feedback either through direct conversation or written comment forms available on-site. All input gathered will be considered as the city moves forward with pedestrian safety planning.
