Jacksonville, AL — Experience the magic of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night with a vibrant twist as The Shakespeare Project presents a series of community performances at Jacksonville State University’s Stone Center. This year’s rendition reimagines the classic tale in 1915 New Orleans, just after a hurricane, during the early days of jazz and prior to women gaining the right to vote.
Audiences will be swept into a world of confusion, revelry, and fun in this abridged, hour-and-thirty-minute adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies. The performances are free to attend, with donations warmly appreciated to support future productions.
The schedule for the Twelfth Night performances is as follows:
- Saturday, January 18: 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Sunday, January 19: 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Friday, January 24: 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, January 25: 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
