JACKSONVILLE, AL – The Jacksonville Water Board announced this morning that a water main break is causing widespread service disruptions across parts of the city. Initially affecting the Englewood and Mountain neighborhoods, the outage has since expanded to include additional areas such as Andover/Sixth Street and other nearby streets.
According to officials, the water must be shut off in these areas to allow crews to safely access and repair the damaged main. The exact duration of the outage is currently unknown, but the Water Board is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed through official Jacksonville Water Board communications and local media updates. The board also advises residents to take precautions, such as storing water for essential needs, until service is restored.
