Jacksonville, AL – On Saturday, October 26, 2024, UREC Fitness will host the highly anticipated 5th installment of StrongOne, a thrilling fitness competition set to challenge and reward fitness enthusiasts. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better, featuring a range of mixed events designed to test participants’ strength, endurance, speed, and agility.
Event Details
- Location: Bennett Field
- Check-In: 8:00 am to 8:45 am
- Event Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
- Awards Ceremony: 12:30 pm
Spectators are welcome to join in the excitement as participants go head-to-head in a variety of events aimed at showcasing their physical capabilities.
Competition Events
This year’s StrongOne will include the following challenging events:
- Bench Press
- Sled Drive
- Tire Flip
- Deadlift
- Hammer Hold
- Farmers Carry
- Log Press
Registration and Weigh-In
A weigh-in is mandatory for all participants to ensure correct placement in the appropriate weight division. Weigh-ins must occur no earlier than four days before the competition and no later than two days prior. Once registered, participants will receive full details and instructions for Comp Day.
- Registration Deadline: Thursday, October 24, 2024, or until maximum capacity is reached.

- Jax State Students: $25
- Returning Participants: $30
- First-Time Participants: $40
Every registrant will receive entry to the event, a swag bag with fitness-related goodies, a bib number, a special event t-shirt, and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a large prize giveaway.
Divisions and Age Categories
Participants will be categorized based on both weight and age to ensure fair competition. Weight divisions include:
- Lightweight
- Middleweight
- Heavyweight
Age categories are:
- 18-30
- 31 and up
Awards and Prizes
Winners in each weight and age division will be celebrated with medals or trophies, and podium finishers will receive a variety of products from Barbell Apparel, including:
- Barbell Bag
- Barbell Shakers
- Barbell Hat
- $50 gift card for Barbell Apparel products
First, second, and third-place winners will be awarded in each age and weight division.
