JaxFest 2019 is a free event for the community. This years celebrations will be held at the Jacksonville Golden Eagle’s Stadium on Wednesday, July 3rd from 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm.
Scheduled events are:
5:00 pm: Gates Open
6:00 pm: Opening by the band “Caldonia”
6:45 pm: Young Marines fallen comrade ceremony
7:00 pm: The next band to take the stage will be “Soul Survivor”
9:00 pm: The evening will end with the finale fireworks show
Kid Zone, Pro Wrestling demonstrations, give-aways, vendors, thru-out the event.
Per Chief Marcus Wood “REMINDER: There is NO parking along George Douthit Drive or James Hopkins Drive. It is important that we keep these roads clear for emergency vehicles to still respond to calls for service. There will be plenty of parking at Jacksonville High School, Kitty Stone Elementary, and The Public Safety Complex. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a night of festivities, but please be safe and responsible.”
