Oxford, AL – Fans of classic country music are in for a treat as the Grammy-nominated artist Josh Turner brings his “Long Black Train 20th Anniversary Tour” to the Oxford Performing Arts Center on Sunday, December 3rd, at 7:00 pm. Turner, known for his rich baritone voice and timeless hits, is set to captivate the audience with an unforgettable evening of music and celebration.
Josh Turner’s musical journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. With chart-topping songs like “Long Black Train” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” Turner has amassed a global reach exceeding 5.8 billion streams, 6.5 million album sales, and almost 12 million track sales worldwide. His legacy includes five No. 1 singles, with “Your Man” boasting an official music video that has surpassed 223 million views.
The spotlight of the evening will undoubtedly shine on Turner’s iconic album, “Long Black Train,” which debuted 20 years ago and achieved Platinum certification by the RIAA. The lead single of the same name also received Platinum certification, with over 1 million track downloads and almost 245 million global streams.
In 2021, Turner marked the 15th anniversary of his double Platinum-selling album, “Your Man,” with the release of the “Your Man Deluxe Edition” and the mini-documentary “Josh Turner Your Man 15th Anniversary” (Mini Doc).
