On Monday, November 11, Jacksonville State University (JSU) will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony to honor the service and sacrifices of local veterans. The ceremony, hosted by the university’s Military & Post-Traditional Student Services, offers a time for the entire JSU community—including alumni, faculty, staff, students, and the public—to gather and pay tribute to those who have served in the armed forces.
Set in the 3rd Floor Auditorium of the Theron Montgomery Building, the event will provide attendees with an opportunity to connect with veterans and reflect on the courage and dedication shown by service members. With free entry, the ceremony promises to be an inclusive and meaningful experience for all ages.
The ceremony is a chance for JSU and the local community to express gratitude to veterans, whose sacrifices have contributed greatly to the freedoms enjoyed today.
