Does your child have an interest in reptiles and amphibians (frogs, toads, snakes, lizards, etc.)?

Well, this herp camp has the inquisitive child in mind and is meant for them! Campers will explore the fascinating world of amphibians and reptiles side-by-side with some of the state’s best herpetologists! Through up-close encounters with a variety of animals, such as frogs, toads, lizards, and snakes, campers will learn about the ecology and conservation of amphibians and reptiles.

Each day includes activities that are STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) oriented, but these academic components are hidden within animal interactions, activities, games, crafts, and fun. Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we only handle proven education animals and our instructors have received training on all of these animals.

We also utilize observations of animals that cannot be handled so that the learning can continue even if the touching cannot. All camps are designed to be age appropriate so the Advanced Campers would be learning much more in depth and complicated information about the animals than our younger students will be.
