JACKSONVILLE, AL — Jacksonville State University will host the Spirit Camp: A Leadership Experience from June 9–12 at Mason Hall on the university’s campus.
According to event information, the four-day camp is designed for students involved in various leadership roles within school band and spirit programs. Instruction will be offered for drum majors, percussion students, color guard members, and student leaders, as well as professional development opportunities for band directors and emerging band directors.
Organizers describe the camp as a leadership-focused learning experience aimed at helping participants develop skills that can be applied within their school organizations and performance programs.
The event is open to the public, and registration remains available. Organizers noted that camp enrollment is continuing and encouraged interested participants to register in advance.
