Piedmont, AL – The Piedmont Public Library is continuing its summer Junior Master Gardener program, with the next class scheduled for Thursday, June 26 at 12:30 p.m. The hands-on educational series is led by Ms. Tammy Hall and is open to students entering or currently in 3rd and 4th grades.
Held each Thursday throughout June and July, the Junior Master Gardener program encourages youth to engage with gardening through the nationally recognized “Learn, Grow, Eat, and Go!” curriculum. Participants explore the basics of plant science, nutrition, and physical activity while developing an appreciation for nature and healthy habits.
The interactive lessons aim to build both knowledge and enthusiasm in young learners by combining science-based gardening education with fun, age-appropriate activities.
Classes take place at the Piedmont Public Library, located at 106 N Main Street in Piedmont, AL. The program is free for participants.
