Washington D.C. – In a vote of 74-25, the U.S. Senate confirmed former U.S. Representative John Ratcliffe to serve as the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Following the confirmation, U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) released a statement expressing her support for Ratcliffe’s appointment and emphasizing the importance of strong leadership within the intelligence community.
