Jacksonville, AL – Animal Advocates for Calhoun County (AACC) is hosting a FREE Microchipping Event for cats and dogs on October 12th from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Jacksonville Community Center. This event will take place behind the main building in the pavilion, adjacent to the soccer fields.
As the final microchipping event of the year, pet owners in the community are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure their beloved animals are safely identified. Microchipping is a simple and effective way to enhance the chances of reuniting lost pets with their families, providing peace of mind for pet owners.
The AACC has been a strong advocate for responsible pet ownership and safety, and this event is part of their ongoing efforts to promote animal welfare in Calhoun County. This is a great opportunity for residents to get their pets microchipped at no cost, as the next chance for this service will not occur until spring 2025.
All cats and dogs are welcome, and no prior registration is required. For pet owners in Jacksonville and surrounding areas, this event represents a valuable chance to protect their furry friends. Don’t miss this last opportunity of the year—mark your calendars for October 12th and join AACC at the Jacksonville Community Center!
