Growing Satsumas in Containers Anniston Museums and Gardens

Anniston, AL – On Thursday, August 17th at 5:00 pm you can learn about Growing Satsumas in Containers at the Anniston Museums and Gardens.

Satsumas are are great citrus. The juicy mandarin-type oranges are easy to peel, typically or nearly seedless, and ripen early in the fall. While central Alabama is just beyond the satsuma belt for backyard and commercial culture, growing satsuma citrus in large pots is easy. Come learn about these tasty fruits, the varieties available, and how to grow your own in a large pot.
Third Thursday programs are $5 per person. AM&G Members are free. Pre-registration is encouraged. Seats are limited.
