Small businesses depend on having a fast and reliable internet connection to handle everything from day-to-day operations to customer interactions. Accordingly, our local elected representatives need to seriously consider supporting the expansion of fiber broadband internet in our rural counties.

As it stands, many small businesses are hindered by unreliable and expensive internet options. And during these uncertain times, its crucial for small businesses everywhere to have an internet service that can adequately support their needs both now and in the future.

Fiber broadband is not only economical and reliable but will make it easier for employers to establish and grow their businesses and create jobs in our rural areas. Let’s hope our county commissioners will support the small business community and take advantage of this important opportunity.
