Local Film Maker's Releases Features Jacksonville High School Student

Jacksonville, AL – Steve Moon is a local Alabama filmmaker. He has featured and consulted with several local families and actors in his films. He has stated that he fell in love with the area while attending Jacksonville State University. He recently helped produce Bruce Willis last two films, a couple of Travolta films, and is currently producing a Gary Oldman film. His most recent film is called Diamond. This movie is about a 70’s era washed-up rock star who performs in her hometown bar. She used to travel the world, but now doesn’t and is adapting to the change in he life. Local Jacksonville high schooler Kenley Fike also has a significant part in the film. Mr. Moon also informed the Calhoun Journal that a premier at JSU is currently being worked on.
