ANNISTON, AL — Main Street Anniston and the City of Anniston will host the annual Main Street Anniston Chili Cook-Off on Friday, December 12, 2025, with all proceeds benefiting the Anniston Police Department’s (APD) Christmas Toy Drive. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Northeast Alabama Bicycle Association (NEABA) Headquarters, located at 26 West 10th Street.
A longstanding holiday tradition, the cook-off raises funds specifically to support older children and teens who are often overlooked during typical toy drive donations. Organizers say the event continues to play a key role in closing that gap each year.
Community members, local organizations, and chili enthusiasts are invited to participate. Team registration is $25, and participants can secure forms or additional details by emailing keden@annistonal.gov.
Guest admission is $10 and includes access to chili samples, drinks, condiments, and a ballot to vote for the People’s Choice – Best Chili award. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of homemade recipes while supporting a meaningful cause within the community.
All funds raised will go directly toward the APD Toy Drive, helping ensure local families receive assistance during the holiday season.
