Calhoun County, AL – Martin’s, a leading community-focused clothing store based in Calhoun County, recently launched the “Treasure Our Teachers” program, an initiative under the Martin’s Miracles program. This back-to-school charity program aimed to support educators in Calhoun County and surrounding areas.
The program selects five teachers through a vote conducted by the buyer’s office. These chosen educators will receive items from their classroom wish lists and a brand-new “teacher wardrobe” from Martin’s. The wardrobe included blouses, pants, and other accessories to help teachers adhere to their dress code guidelines.
“We were honored to have the ability to give back to teachers who have contributed immensely to our company over the years,” said Ivey Brooks, Martin’s Ladies’ Buyer. “We wanted teachers to feel confident and comfortable in what they wear. That’s why we looked for brands that could accommodate those specific needs, as well as being affordable and stylish. Teachers make up a significant portion of our consumers all across the state of Alabama, and we were glad that we could provide an extended reach to educators even outside of Calhoun County. I couldn’t wait to see what our program winners picked out for their new teacher wardrobe.”
Martin’s celebrates and supports local educators through this meaningful initiative, helping them start the school year with confidence and style. Stay tuned for the announcement of the selected teachers and the exciting results of the “Treasure Our Teachers” program.
