ANNISTON, AL — McClellan Senior Living will host its “Grease is the Word” Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 15, offering an afternoon of classic cars, live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
The event is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. at McClellan Senior Living, 41 Polkville Drive, Anniston. According to the event organizers, admission is open to the public.
Activities planned for the event include live music, a display of classic cars, free hot dogs and prizes recognizing selected vehicles. Organizers also plan to present a Grease-themed performance by McClellan Senior Living staff at 2 p.m., featuring songs and scenes inspired by the popular musical.
The event is designed to welcome classic car enthusiasts, fans of the film and families looking for a community activity.
