OXFORD — The Oxford Civic Center will host the Miss Oxford Volunteer and Miss Calhoun County Volunteer Pageant on Saturday, August 23, beginning at 5 p.m. Contestants from across the region will compete for a variety of titles as part of this year’s event.

Organizers noted that there is a possibility of also awarding a Miss Oxford Camellia State Jr. Teen title.
The pageant serves as a local opportunity for young women to represent Oxford and Calhoun County in various community, leadership, and volunteer-focused initiatives. The winners will go on to represent their titles throughout the coming year at community events and appearances.
Organizers say they are looking forward to a strong turnout and an exciting evening of competition and celebration.
