Multi-Vehicle Crash Claims Life of Woman in Talladega Crash

Talladega, AL – A tragic multi-vehicle collision on Saturday, April 13, at around 5:50 p.m., has resulted in the loss of a Valley Head resident’s life. Patricia M. Garner, 47, was fatally injured in the accident. The incident unfolded when the 2015 Kawasaki Ninja 300 SE motorcycle she was operating collided with a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Mahogony Z. Rowell, 26, of Sylcauga, and a 2017 Honda Accord driven by Trahmaud C. Jordan, 25, of Oxford.

According to reports, following the initial impact, the Honda then struck the Toyota, intensifying the collision. Tragically, Garner succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident.

The crash site was located on Alabama 21 near the 213-mile marker, situated less than one mile north of Sylacauga, within Talladega County. As investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the incident, Troopers from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are actively involved in the probe.

At present, no further details regarding the incident have been disclosed.
