Munford, AL – Last Saturday, the Munford Veterans Park hosted a Car, Truck, and Tractor Show at the Munford Walking Track, attracting vehicle enthusiasts and community members alike. The event served as a fundraiser to benefit the development of Munford Veterans Park, with all proceeds going toward its completion.
The event featured not only an impressive lineup of cars, trucks, and tractors but also a bustling arts and crafts fair and yard sale, making it a fun-filled day for families and attendees of all ages. Various vendors set up booths, offering a range of treats from cupcakes to Coke floats and even fresh corn, contributing to the vibrant community atmosphere.
One of the day’s highlights was a raffle with enticing prizes, including a leaf blower and a $50 gift card to Home Depot, drawing in additional support for the cause. Organizers expressed their gratitude for the strong turnout, acknowledging that the funds raised brought them closer to completing the park in time for the ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for November 11th.
“We’re trying to raise a little more money so we can get some stuff done out there and get it completed,” said one of the event’s organizers Renee Stone. “We appreciate everyone coming out and supporting us.”
The community’s continued support plays a vital role in the success of the Munford Veterans Park project, ensuring it will be a place of reflection and honor for years to come.
