New Options Coming to JSU Dining This Fall

Jacksonville, AL – The JSU press department shared that JSU Dining is ready to dish out another delicious year of food service on the Friendliest Campus in the South. From cheeseburgers and vegetarian chicken tenders to gourmet cake slices and fresh smoothies – there’s something to satisfy every appetite.Two new dining locations have been added this fall: The Merrill Cafe and South Campus Cafe. Both will feature Boar’s Head Deli, We Proudly Serve Starbucks and Simply to Go. Simply to Go can also be found at the Houston Cole Cafe.Returning this year are Jack Hopper Dining Hall, WOW, Chick-fil-A, Mein Bowl, Freshens and We Proudly Serve Starbucks at Houston Cole Café. Cocky’s Kitchen is also back for its second year, offering Mr. Beast Burger, Pardon My Cheesesteak, Mariah’s Cookies, and Buddy V’s Cake Slice. Located at the back of Stephenson Hall near JSU Stadium, Cocky’s Kitchen will now offer walkup ordering, in addition to Kiwibot delivery and takeout via the Everyday app.Dex the Kiwibot and all his friends have enjoyed their summer vacation, but will be back in service this semester with new and improved hours: Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Delivery is available by Kiwibot through the Everyday app from WOW, Mein Bowl, Freshens, We Proudly Serve Starbucks, Mr. Beast Burger, Pardon My Cheesesteak, Mariah’s Cookies and Buddy V’s Cake Slice.Gamecock football fans will enjoy news concessions options at JSU Stadium this fall, including chili dogs, cheeseburgers, cotton candy, gourmet popcorn and more. Local food trucks will also be onsite during home games. Please note that Jax State Concessions will be cashless effective this fall. Payment methods for concessions and food trucks will be credit and/or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. JSU Dining invites students, faculty and staff to kick off the semester at the Retro Remix Welcome Back event on Aug. 23, 5-7 p.m., at Jack Hopper Dining Hall. Come dressed in your favorite 1970s fashions and enjoy retro food from the grooviest decade.
